Hyggen IF was one of 37 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Hallingcup 2018. They participated with one team in Jenter 13 (9v9 stor).

In addition to Hyggen IF, 9 other teams played in Jenter 13 (9v9 stor). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Hyggen IF J13 could be found in Group A together with Vestsiden-Askøy IL J13, Nesbyen IL J13, 1, Arna-Bjørnar Allianse Idrettslag J13 and Holmlia SK J13, Holmlialøvene.

Hyggen IF J13 made it to A-sluttspill after reaching 1:st place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Arna-Bjørnar Allianse Idrettslag J13, which they won with 2-0. Thereby Hyggen IF J13 won the entire A-sluttspill in Jenter 13 (9v9 stor) during Hallingcup 2018.

Hyggen comes from Hyggen which lies approximately 130 km from Gol, where Hallingcup takes place. The area around Hyggen does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Hallingcup 2018 (Holmlia SK, Ready, Jutul, IL, Drammens BK, Vollen Ungdomslag, Røa IL, Vålerenga Fotball and Bærums Verk Hauger Idrettsforening).
